SHELIA HINES, PROBLEM SOLVING COURT COORDINATOR

Through judicial oversight and in collaboration with community partners, the Division of Child Support Services’ Problem Solving Court will assist and mentor participants who exhibit barriers to self-sufficiency through the provision of community services and adult education.  This renewed focus on self sufficiency will increase our non-custodial parent’s ability to pay child support on a consistent basis.  The Problem Solving Court model seeks to remove underlying issues that lead to chronic non-payment of child support.  This program will provide an alternative to incarceration.
